The nymph bite on the Watauga has been on for the last week or so. Bug activity has been sporadic but the fish are chowing. The lower river has decent numbers of quality fish but you have to work a little harder for the eats. The upper has been productive but the average size is smaller but it's a great place to learn the fundementails.
